Ciao: Call me....next year!

Its the time of the year again.

Few of my friends know that I am a strong supporter of the UAAP. After my first college pep rally, I was hooked. There's something about rooting for your alma mater, or anything you're passionate, about that just gives me goosebumps. I particularly like the season openings the most, and with classes or without, I used to watch it live. lagot! I don't know if its because people you don't know become your bestfriends courtside (yess), or just the bragging rights (Dada had pretty solid connections ssshh)

Only this year my excitement was dampend by this: see here. Argh, its like the plague.

With games, of course its mens basketball (flickering eyebrows), especially because I used to have a crush on this one MVP. Just look at this...

Looked like we were holding hands huh? Hehe, nah...but it was amazeballs. Super saya monaman ineng, bawasan ang gilagid. But he was really really nice. Good thing the not-yet-Dada was supportive of this uh-madness and always gave me tickets. I reciprocated by attending the women's volleyball games with him. Amanos.

I miss those days, here's a pic of this MVP's last UAAP game. (He's now in the PBA.) Spell supportive? s-t-a-l-k-e-r.

 

M was so sweet when she had a shirt for me signed by him for one birthday. And where did I put the pic of that? Hmm...it would be worth more than it was now because MVP is now in the big leagues.

This years opening would be on the 14th and would be more special because it will be held at the new Mall of Asia Arena. More tickets surely. Would I go? Lets see.
