Ciao: Perché il nome?

My sole critic (me!) asked me: why the title? Because all the good ones are gone.
(nostrils flared): But what does it mean?!
Knowing myself, it would probably change by the 11th post, but for now let me give you my half page explanation.
My first blog was named-Whoopsidaisies, because I thought it was cute, and I have this weird liking for hard-to-spell names. The second one, I'm sorry to admit (and as testament to my previous post) was a slightly awkward version of M's blog title now (M, you must've seen my notes maybe? Probably not.) The third, was just too awful to remember.

As I was contemplating on this blog (C'mon get to it.....), I'd admit to wishing I'd be the next Sartorialist or Karla's Closet, sadly..I am a 27 year old woman who lives in her sisters' and mom's clothes. What would credits be like then- Top from Mom// Skirt borrowed from M// Shoes not-borrowed from F//Styling=0.
The latest trends I followed were Custo Barcelona shirts and UCB school bags. Whatmore, I love everything mass-produced!

Or because I forgot my meds that day, grandma Martha whispered in my ear that I can potentially be the next Cake Boss. Yeah, but then I realized that I never ever got to photograph any of my kitchen accidents wonders, they were that good.I know!
So still on that same day,I thought why don't I just write about the thing I know and lurv the most: Me!  Madre de Dios, forgive my vanity. (Note to self: don't forget your pink pill)
But seriously, this blog was first christened www.blogforyerowndearlife.blogspot - as I atttribute writing to therapy. In my attempt to make an excuse for the 13 boxes of scrapbook material I have yet to finish (My son's scrapbook stopped at the 6th month, eeep!), I thought of a blog as the solution to un-lazily drafting my scrapbook layouts...to remember previous outfits and happenings, ...as aid to my deteriorating memory. Blogging could very well be therapy for my being more out there and being more open to critique.

Ciao: speaks of the 'me' part (yep, that would never go away!). My interests, my rants and as my Asian friend says, my wamblings. Just my everyday thought bubbles.
Mostly the issues I put off posting using the excuse that I'm still waiting for my Mac to start blogging again. (oh, and my great lola is veramente italiano, too)

The Chew:Choo part is a play on my son's penchant for trains. He'll occupy most of the pages anyway, might as well name it.

Chew: my favorite task. Growing up in a household whose members are fit to enter the Fear Factor eating contests, we simply love to eat. In fact,I'm a step higher than Andrew Zimmern because unlike him, I love walnuts and loove durian. I love to eat so much that I got hospitalized for it (no more isaw with rice for me).
And because my dad used to be strict on our whereabouts, eating out was very much confined to mall finds and hotel buffets. I thank God he's more open now to venture out more, as he is the number 1 foodie naman. So that you'll see.

Choo (& Baby Choo): Of course would relate to what else but fashion. Mostly of my son's of course. I'm deeply influenced by Sally Shim of Shim & Sons (see here) and pretty much try to dress T like her little boys.
I'm really original right? And I'd try to inject some of my fashion tries and mistries, or maybe M & F's nalang.

Any other title suggestions?
